NACTA, Inc. The National Association of Commissioned Travel Agents, is the travel industry's leading national trade association representing independent contractors, outside sales agents, cruise and tour oriented agents, group oriented travel professionals and traditional ARC appointed travel agencies that provide services and support to such professionals.

NACTA was established in 1986, now celebrating 20 year's as the original association with a mission to represent the interest of independent travel entrepreneurs. NACTA continues that objective and works to promote professionalism and recognition for the professional independent agent. NACTA is a forum for open communication amongst its members. As a member driven association, NACTA surveys its membership to develop a consensus on issues of concern to the independent travel agent community. When consensus is reached, NACTA acts out its members will to impose positive change within the travel industry.

As a member driven association, The National Association of Commissioned Travel Agents, as a group,  leads the way to increased exposure and respect within the travel industry for independent travel professionals. NACTA's President, Joanie Ogg CTC, MCC is widely recognized as the foremost authority on issues regarding independent travel professionals. Joanie's presence in the trade publications, at trade shows and conventions, and as a speaker for independents at virtually every travel industry function serves NACTA member's interests and further the mission of NACTA.
