Incentive Connection Travel is the largest "Host Agency" in the country, and have been in Travel in Phoenix since 1981.  We are a family owned and run agency with a very select group of Professional Agents.  We offer a very generous 70% to 80% commission split to our agents on all commissions earned, including overrides.  For example, we get 15% with Apple Vacations, Delta Vacatsion, America West Vacations, 16% with RCCL, Celebrity, Holland America, Carnival, Travel Impressions, Happy Vacations,  17% with NCL and Costa. Few agencies get as much as we. Our agents walk away with almost 13% commission, on average.  We are Key Accounts with every major supplier and many minors.  Presidents Club with NCL and Top of the Top with the others.

Example:  NCL, $2000 cruise for 2, Average agency gets 10% commission = $200.  Incentive Connection Travel gets a 7% override for a total of 17% = $340. Our agents get 70% to 80% of the FULL commission = $238.  In this example, ICT agents earn $38.00 more than the average agency starts with before they even begin to pay their enormous overhead.

What We Are Not

We are not a "Card Mill". We do not sell the dream of free travel without the "inconvenience" of actually having to sell travel.  We are looking for agents who intend to make money in travel and who want to run their business in a professional manner.  We suggest you compare every program you can find before you decide. Compare very carefully, especially those that want a hefty up-front fee. Once your money is in their hands, where is their incentive to help, guide and encourage? We make our money only when you make your money. Don't be fooled by those companies that offer 100% commission. Giving away all their commission? How do they pay their bills? Look for the hidden "Per Ticket" and "Per Document" charges, all the nibbling extras that suddenly make their program unprofitable to you.

We are a Select Member of Ensemble Travel (formerly GIANTS).  What does Select mean to you and your travel business?  As a Select Agency, when you book any of 100’s of cruise departures, your client gets a free shore excursion, free cocktail party, host on board and/or free Prepaid Gratuities.  All as though it came from you.  That, in addition, to blocked space rates.  There is no cost to you for this Amenity program.

 Can You Work As A Travel Agent Part-Time And Still Keep Your Present Job?

It's up to you. Many of our Incentive Connection Travel agents have other jobs. In fact, the contacts they make in their other jobs help them build their travel businesses. Others have started with us with the aim of developing travel into a new career, others with the goal of retiring and having travel as their later years income. We have agents working for many of our suppliers, including airlines.  Others work for AAA, Carlson….during the day.  As long as they conduct their Home Based business on their own time and not from their employers facilities, we see no conflict. Our agents have many reasons for joining us, but the common thread is the desire to make money.

How Will You Receive Your Commissions?

Each month, you'll receive a check for the full 70% to 80%, not "up to” 70% to 80%, of the commissions you've earned from your client's purchases of travel-related products and services, with no fees deducted, because we charge no fee of any kind

In Addition To Commissions, Will You Receive Travel Benefits?

Of course! Once you're operating your Independent Agency, you'll be listed on the International Airline Travel Agent Network (IATAN) reduced rate list, making you eligible for travel benefits from many suppliers...deep discounts from tour operators, cruise lines, hotels and car rental companies (of course, always subject to their then current policy). To earn the personalized IATAN travel agent card which gives you all the benefits the travel industry has to offer, all you need to do is earn the required IATAN minimal annual income, currently $5,000.  Please do not ask for “special” consideration.  We are a legitimate Host Agency and adhere to all industry regulations and requirements.

How Do You Get Help?

The Incentive Connection Travel Team will be available to answer any questions and offer advice on an ongoing basis. The Support Center can be reached by phone, fax or e-mail, 7 days a week.  We also have a very active E Mail Help Line where you can ask questions, opinions and solicit all manner of travel information.

How Will You Keep Informed Of Important News In The Industry When Your Working Out Of Your House?

Our Web Site will provide you with all travel industry faxes, supplier specials, seminars, familiarization tours, and much more---all updated daily. In addition, being a top account with over 100 suppliers, you will get time sensitive specials and industry information from us every day, that most other agencies do not get.

How Will I Make Airline, Hotel And Car Rental Reservations?

You'll have access to SABRE or Amadeus.  Training is available on line 24 X 7 at no cost to you. 

What Is The Cost For You, the Professional Travel Agent?

Are There Any Additional Fees?

There is a $25 monthly fee which covers all SABRE or Amadeus access for unlimited usage. There is no charge for the software and no enrollment charge. Compare this program with anyone's.

Can You Use The Incentive Connection Travel Name Or Should You Use Your Own Name?

Both. There are great advantages in the strength and equity of the Incentive Connection Travel name, but you should personalize your marketing materials with the name of your own company and Incentive Connection Travel as your affiliated company. There should never be any question that you, Smith Travel are the agent.

What About Insurance?

Errors and Omissions insurance is very important when selling travel to the public. Unfortunately, many independent contractors are unaware of this. As an Incentive Connection Travel Agent, you're required to carry such insurance. But because of our national buying power, we've arranged for you to purchase this insurance at a fraction of its normal cost, $195 per year for $1,000,000 in coverage and a 12 month subscription to Res24, the client “security blanket” while they are traveling anywhere in the world.  This Support Package is the best in the industry.

Will You Need To Be Bonded As A Travel Agent?

Incentive Connection Travel is fully bonded and has been approved by the Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC), International Airlines Travel Agent Network (IATAN) and Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). We are also a member of the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA). ICT is also a host agency member of NACTA and meets NACTA's stringent requirements for acceptance.  Since you will be booking under the Incentive Connection Travel name and agency identification number, there is no need for you to go through any bonding process. In addition, Incentive Connection Travel has taken the necessary steps for approval in those states with "Travel Seller Laws" saving you time and money for additional bonding requirements.
