Here Are Some Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What are the benefits of being an affiliate of Vacations Just 4-U, Inc.?

A.  First, the difference is we care about you and your business. We are personal with our agents unlike other host agencies who recruit to the masses of agents. We take the time to know you and help you build your business. Individual attention is a key here.
Secondly, we have designed an easy to use reporting system, so you will know when your commission comes in and when it’s paid.
Third, you have access to all our booking engines, which include cruise lines, tour operators,  hotels, car rental agencies, either directly or through our consortium. We support our suppliers offering training, obtaining brochures and other helpful material available to you.
Fourth, we are an ongoing support system to our agencies in sales and marketing ideas.

Q.  Do I have to take the initial training classes or do you have online training?
A.  We would like to take you through a one-on-one training. If this will not work for you, you do have the option of online training at your leisure. You should ask yourself a question, when it comes to training. Do you have to learn and pass a test to operate your vehicle? The answer is yes. This is a profession. You have to have the knowledge to be able to sell to your clients. We don’t require you to take on-going classes, although we highly recommend furthering your knowledge. On going training will enrich your knowledge and will increase your income. Knowledge is power!

Q.  Can I take your class online, if I can’t attend a class?
A.  Yes, you can. Then, we are just a phone call or email away to answer any questions you might have.

Q.  How often are commissions paid?
A.  With in 5 working days of receipt.

Q.  What are your commission levels for Vendors?
A.  We have successful established our rates from 10% with hotels to 15% with cruise lines and up to 20% with tour companies.

Q.  Do I have to learn Amadeus or Saber?
A.  No, you do not. Our membership with Nest (our consortium), affords us to be able to go through their easy to use booking system to book cruises. You can use our Amadeus Cruise; it is available to you and any other booking systems with our vendors. We train you on our reporting system, which is very user friendly. We also introduce user-friendly booking sites to agents in the initial training.

Q. Where Do My Customers Come From?
A. This is not an internet-based business only. You will probably start with your family and friends as well as branch out into your community such as your Church or other organizations. Sales and marketing is our specialty and we will help you get out there. You will also have the option to be listed on the public website as a professional agency with contact information.

Q. How do I compete with pricing from Orbitz, Travelocity, and Expedia?
A. No problem, we have the same booking engine as the above companies have.

Q.  What about your membership fee?
A. Remember the saying “you get what you pay for”, it applies here.  If you are serious about becoming a professional agent part-time or full time, then you won’t have a problem with the fee, as this is a business investment for your future. This is a start up cost for a very lucrative business.

Q. Why should I join Vacations Just 4-U, Inc. instead of choosing another company for support?
A. We are prepared for more personal individual support than other large companies are. You still have the commission levels, you can actually speak to a real person, your initial membership fee and renewal fees are tax deductible.

Q.  I’ve hear about bonus commission. What is bonus a commission and how is it paid?
A.  Bonus commissions are set by the vendor on top of your commission percentage for selling a vendors product. Bonus commissions are paid at the same time to the agent at 100%.

Q.  Is there a minimum in sales required with your membership?
A.  We do not require a minimum. However, CLIA requires you to sell no less than 6000.00 in sales per year to retain your industry CLIA Card. You can accomplish this by one to two sales or just one small group.

Q. I am not familiar with sales and marketing. How are you going to help? 
A. We provide ongoing marketing ideas and methods in sales. We are involved in helping you succeed.

Q. When can I start my training?
A. We have designated training dates available for you to choose from or you may train over the internet.                 

Q. Will I need a business License or a DBA?
A. You will probably need a business name. You will need to check with your city, county and state to determine requirements. Each state is different. However, some require licensing.
